The E100 is a compact 12W white LED, and while it can sit over a small freshwater or marine tank, reefers most often use a fixture like this to drive a refugium. Run over a sump or hang-on refugium packed with chaetomorpha, this kind of light grows macroalgae that pulls nitrate and phosphate out of your reef, giving you natural nutrient export without extra dosing.
