Feeding Instructions:
Feed often, but only what can be consumed in three minutes. Remove any uneaten food. Never overfeed. No thawing or rinsing required. Keep frozen.

Microwaving or thawing in hot water is not recommended, as this breaks down the nutrients contained in frozen fish food.

Feeding Frozen Bloodworms in Singapore Tanks

Frozen bloodworms are one of the easiest ways to add high-protein variety to a community tank, and they suit the kind of fish most of us keep here, from bettas and gouramis to discus and small loaches. We keep them in the freezer until use, then break off a portion for the number of fish you are feeding. They work especially well for shy or newly imported fish that ignore dry pellets at first.

In our warm 27-29C climate, metabolism runs fast, so fish digest richer foods quickly, but uneaten cubes also foul water faster. We suggest feeding only what your fish clear in a couple of minutes and netting out any leftovers. Thawing a portion in a small cup of tank water before dosing reduces mess and lets you target feeders directly rather than clouding the whole column with thawing residue.
