SFBB freeze-dried brine shrimp for finicky Singapore fish
Brine shrimp is one of the most widely recognised foods in the hobby, and this freeze-dried form makes it a no-fuss option for both freshwater and marine fish. We point new keepers to it when a fish refuses pellets, since few will turn down brine shrimp. It works beautifully as a variety food to break up a flake or pellet routine, keeping fish interested and active in our warm tanks.
As with any dry food, soak it briefly in aquarium water first so the pieces sink and rehydrate, which is gentler on the gut than dry fragments. Feed small amounts that are cleared quickly, because in 28C water any uneaten food breaks down and burdens your filter. For fry and tiny mouths, freshly hatched live brine remains the gold standard, with this dried form a handy convenient backup.
