Description

Product contains a unique composition of freeze-dried probiotic bacteria and nourishment to facilitate their multiplication. Pro Bio F is especially recommended for small aquariums in which installing a filter with polymers is not possible or it is much more difficult. It can replace the administration of VSV or other carbon sources. The unique composition of specially selected strains of probiotic bacteria has been developed to accelerate the decomposition of organic matter. It improves clarity of water and promotes cleaning the substrate. The use of Pro Bio F reduces the amount of nitrate to an undetectable level, providing the coral with perfectly balanced living conditions and excellent colouring.
Dosage: 1 spoon per 100 l (27 US gal) of water daily. Product for aquarium use only. Keep away from children. Not suitable for human consumption.

AF ProBio F 25g for Nano Reefs in Singapore

ProBio F is a freeze-dried probiotic bacteria blend with built-in nourishment to help the strains multiply once dosed. We suggest it for the many nano and small reef tanks in SG homes where fitting a media reactor or polymer filter just isn’t practical. Instead of relying on hardware to export nutrients, these bacteria accelerate the breakdown of organic matter, helping pull down nitrate and clear up the water column over time.

Because it’s a dry powder, it stores well in our humid climate as long as you keep the container sealed and dry between doses. We tell customers to start with the recommended amount, dose into an area of good flow, and give the colony time to establish rather than expecting an overnight change. Pair it with steady maintenance, since bacteria support good husbandry, they don’t replace water changes and sensible feeding.
