Thanks to its innovative formula, KH Pro not only effectively raises KH levels but also enriches the water with potassium, essential for the healthy growth and development of corals and other marine organisms. Each 10 ml of the product per 100 liters of water increases potassium levels by 1 mg/l, contributing to maintaining optimal aquarium conditions and supporting natural biological processes.

Choosing Aquaforest KH PRO for concentrated alkalinity dosing
KH Pro is the concentrated, higher-output relative of the familiar KH Plus, and we stock it in 1000ml and 2000ml for local reefers running larger or higher-demand systems. Because it is more concentrated you move more alkalinity per millilitre, which suits busy SPS tanks where carbonate hardness draws down fast in our warm 27-29C water. It also enriches the water with potassium, which corals need for coloration, so you cover two needs with one product.
That extra strength makes it well suited to emergencies, such as a sudden chemistry swing after a missed water change or a dosing-pump fault, where you need to bring KH back quickly but still under control. Even so, respect the daily ceiling on how fast you raise carbonate hardness; concentrated does not mean rushed. The larger 2000ml bottle is the economical pick once you are dosing a sizeable reef daily.
