Aqua Excel P1 1L Media Reactor for Marine Tanks up to 500L

The Aqua Excel P1 is a 1-litre media reactor with its own AE-600 pump, rated for systems up to around 500 litres, making it a practical choice for the mid-size reef builds common in Singapore condos. A reactor like this lets you run media such as GFO or carbon in a controlled fluidised flow rather than passively in a sump, giving more consistent contact and easier media changes. The 80mm pipe diameter and compact 105 x 100 x 360mm body fit most local cabinet setups.

For our reefers, predictable media performance matters because warm ambient temperatures of 27 to 29C push many tanks toward chillers and tighter nutrient control. Running phosphate or carbon media on a reactor helps keep nutrients stable between water changes, which supports steadier coral colour.
