QANVEE DD100A/DD200A Bio Sponge Filter with Pump
The QANVEE DD series upgrades the classic sponge filter by adding a low-consumption electric pump, giving you stronger, quieter flow than an air-driven model while keeping the gentle, fish-safe filtration sponge filters are loved for. Suction pads anchor it to the glass, a telescopic neck lets you set the outlet height, and an air tube still adds bubbles for aeration. The media chamber holds a useful amount of biological media alongside the sponge.
This makes it a great quiet workhorse for shrimp tanks, fry grow-out, quarantine and nano community tanks up to about 2ft, where you want filtration that will not suck up tiny inhabitants. Running on 12V, it is also gentle on the electricity bill. The sponge pulls out easily for a rinse in old tank water, and because it leans on biological filtration, a power cut during one of our monsoon storms is less disruptive if you reconnect it promptly and keep the bacteria fed.
