Techsin DH-24B Mist Maker for Paludariums and Terrariums
This single-disc ultrasonic mist maker sits below the water line and atomises water into a rolling fog, with twelve colour-changing LEDs lighting the mist from within. It is a favourite among local paludarium and terrarium builders who want that low-lying, drifting cloud effect across mossy hardscape, plus a hit of ambient humidity for emersed plants. The compact ceramic disc and zinc-alloy housing make it easy to tuck into a reservoir or hidden sump without dominating the scene.
In Singapore’s humid climate, foggers do double duty: the visual fog is the draw, but the moisture also helps keep emersed mosses and ferns turgid in enclosed vivariums. Maintain a consistent water level over the disc so it runs reliably, and use clean or RO-topped water to limit the white mineral film that builds on the disc and surrounding glass over time. A quick wipe of the ceramic disc keeps output strong.
