The UP Aqua D-022 Mist Maker for Paludariums in Singapore

This ultrasonic mist maker is a favourite for hobbyists building paludariums, terrariums and emersed displays where a rolling layer of fog adds atmosphere and a bit of cooling at the water surface. The dry-burn protection is genuinely useful, since the disc shuts behaviour shifts when the water level drops too low, which protects the unit between top-ups. We carry both the plain D-022 and the D-022-L with the integrated light for a glow effect.

It needs to sit submerged in a small reservoir, so plan a sump area or a hidden cup in your scape. In our high ambient humidity the fog reads beautifully against backgrounds and mosses, though remember misting raises moisture around the display, so keep it away from electronics and check for condensation on nearby surfaces. Top up the reservoir regularly because warm rooms evaporate water quickly.
