DOOA Pipe Brush Duo for glass pipe cleaning

The Pipe Brush Duo is a spring-coil cleaning brush with two different brush shapes, one on each end, made to scrub the algae and biofilm that build up inside glass inflow and outflow pipes. The flexible coil reaches the curves and hard-to-access bends that a straight brush misses. While built for the DOOA Stream Pipe series, it also fits ADA and Do!aqua glasswork, and works on pipes from 10mm to 20mm diameter.

We find pipe brushes a near-weekly necessity in Singapore, because our warm 27-29C water and nutrient-rich planted tanks grow brown and green film inside glasswork quickly, which throttles flow and looks unsightly through clear pipes. The dual heads let you tackle both wide and narrow sections without swapping tools. Rinse the bristles after use and dry them, as our humidity will rust a damp coil left in a cabinet.
