OASE AquaMax Eco Classic
The entry-level class among the filter and watercourse pumps: AquaMax Eco pumps the pond water to the watercourse, waterfall or filter system powerfully and reliably. The large-surface wrap-around filter allows coarse dirt particles such as fish waste or dead plant parts up to 8 mm in size to pass through. The pumps switch off automatically in the event of dry running or blockage, preventing damage to the unit.

OASE AquaMax Eco Classic for Singapore Garden Ponds
The Eco Classic is the workhorse of the AquaMax line, and for many Singapore ponds it is exactly enough: a reliable filter-and-watercourse pump that moves water steadily without fuss. The wrap-around prefilter cage lets coarse debris up to 8mm pass through to your filter rather than blocking at the intake, which matters here where leaf litter and fish waste accumulate quickly in our warm year-round conditions. The 10m cable gives flexibility on where you place the socket.
Sizing is the thing to get right. For tropical ponds with decent fish stock, aim to turn the whole pond volume over roughly once an hour through the filter, then pick the model that comfortably hits that against your waterfall height. Running below water level keeps it quiet and primed, and the dry-run cutout protects the motor if the intake ever blocks during a dry spell.
