Bright Sand is a 100% natural, pH-neutral sand in fine, even grains, giving you a pale open base that brightens a tank and makes a small HDB or condo aquarium feel more spacious. The light tone is a favourite for iwagumi and minimalist river layouts where the substrate itself is part of the design. Sold in 1kg portions for nano tanks and 5kg for bigger scapes, you can buy exactly what your footprint needs.

Being pH-neutral and inert, it leaves your water chemistry untouched, so your soft local parameters stay as your source water dictates rather than being buffered. Rinse it well first, as fine pale sands show dust haze readily and a clean start saves you days of cloudy water. Light substrates do reveal detritus and algae more obviously, so steady flow and regular spot-cleaning keep the surface looking crisp.
