SUDO S-8757 Mix Sand for colourful nano displays

This 150g mixed-colour glass sand gives you a multi-tone base in a single pack, ideal for the small betta jars, shrimp bowls and desktop cubes that suit compact HDB and condo living. As inert glass it holds its colour and stays chemically neutral, so it will not nudge the pH or harden our naturally soft Singapore tap water. The mixed grain reads as a playful gravel bed under LED, and works well as a top dressing scattered over a plain substrate for contrast.

We keep the layer shallow when using decorative glass sand, both to show the colours and to keep waste easy to spot and siphon. Rinse the pack briefly first to clear any dust, then let it settle for an hour before adding livestock. It pairs nicely with a single betta, a small colony of cherry shrimp, or a planted nano where you want the foreground to stand out rather than disappear.
