SUDO S-8925 Kinggoyo Goldfish Sand 5kg

The 5kg bag of Kinggoyo sand is sized for proper goldfish tanks, where these heavy-bodied fish need a generous open floor to forage over. The rounded, pre-washed natural grains are gentle on the mouths of fancy goldfish that mouth the substrate constantly, which helps avoid the scrapes and gut blockages that angular gravel can cause. The warm colour blend flatters orandas, ranchus and shubunkins under typical home lighting.

It stays inert and will not shift your parameters, so you keep full control over hardness and pH in our soft local tap water. Goldfish are messy and produce a lot of waste, so keep the sand layer fairly shallow and stir it during water changes to stop debris and gas pockets building up underneath. A 5kg bag comfortably covers a larger footprint at a sensible depth.
