Crossflow Coverage with the JEBAO MCP Wavemaker
The MCP crossflow wavemakers use a twin-impeller design to throw a wide, even sheet of water across the tank rather than a narrow jet, which is excellent for clearing dead spots along the back glass of longer displays. With Wi-Fi, an LCD controller and SINE-wave drive, they run quietly enough for a Singapore living-room tank and let you fine-tune flow from the sofa. No exposed copper means they work happily in both planted freshwater scapes and reef systems.
Sized by tank length, from roughly 90cm up to 180cm, the range matches typical HDB and condo aquariums. We recommend mounting the unit horizontally near the top to ripple the surface, boosting the gas exchange our warm water needs, and using random or pulse modes so flow feels natural and detritus stays suspended for the filter to collect. The feeding pause keeps food in the tank at mealtimes.
See more in water pumps, and our reef wavemaker guide and flow rate guide explain matching coverage to tank size.
