**New model of 40PU2.15S**
The PU-series is a submersible vortex pump designed for raw sewage, wastewater, and liquid carrying solid matters. It is made of resin and 304 stainless steel and excellent in corrosion-resistance. The vortex mechanism provides practically unchokable operation in sewage pumping. Liquid paraffin is used for the lubricating oil, which widens the application of the pump to decorative waterfalls, fishponds, aquaculture, etc.
Features:

Motor Protector Miniature Thermal Protector – Detects excess heat, therefore, protecting the pump against overheating and dry-running

Dual Inside Mechanical Seals – Isolated in the oil chamber where a clean, non-corrosive and abrasion-free lubricating environment is maintained. Compared with the water-cooled outside mechanical seal, it reduces the risk of failure caused by dry-heating and adhering matter

Liquid Paraffin Oil = Fish Friendly – This high-purity oil is commonly used in the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and food processing equipment. Because it is a food grade lubricant, the pump can be safely used for water features in carp/koi ponds and fish farms.

Resin Vortex Impeller – Resists wear caused by abrasive particles and enables the pump to maintain its original performance for an extended period of time.

Tsurumi 50NHPU2.15S submersible pump for koi ponds

This is the new-model successor to the 40PU2.15S, a more compact 0.15kW vortex pump pushing up to 13,200 litres per hour through a 50mm bore with a max head of 5.5m. The big draw for pond keepers is the fish-friendly liquid paraffin lubricant; because it is a food-grade oil, the pump can run safely in carp and koi ponds where a leak from a standard pump would be a worry. The vortex impeller still passes 35mm solids for clog-free running.

For Singapore water features the resin and 304 stainless construction handles our humid, rain-soaked conditions, and the thermal protector guards against overheating and dry-running during long continuous use. The 6.5kg body is easy to lift out for the periodic cleaning our warm climate makes necessary, since organic load and algae build faster here than in temperate ponds. Keep the intake clear and match plumbing to the bore.
