Description
Sulfur is the fourth most abundant element present in the seawater. Correct values of this element provide corals healthy growth and vivid coloration. Research data indicates that sulfur deficiencies may worsen metabolic processes of living organisms. Sulfur is constantly consumed in the closed aquarium system and its levels should be regularly monitored.
Dosage
10 ml of the product increases the sulfur level by 4 mg/l (ppm) in 100 litres (27 US gal) of water. The recommended level of sulfur in aquarium water is 740-990 mg/l (ppm). Please remember, that maximum safe daily dose is 30 ml per 100 litres of water. If you need a higher dose, split it into a few days.

Aquaforest Sulphur LAB (S) 1000ml Reef Supplement
Sulphur is one of the most abundant elements in natural seawater, and corals rely on correct levels for healthy growth and vivid colour. In a closed reef it is steadily consumed, and a shortfall can quietly dull metabolism long before it shows on the rocks. We keep this 1000ml AF Sulphur LAB on the shelf for established reefs that are testing slightly low and want to restore that element to natural seawater values without guesswork.
Because trace and minor elements interact, we treat sulphur as part of a measured dosing programme rather than a standalone fix. Test first, dose to a target, and retest, since chasing colour by overdosing usually backfires in a small Singapore reef where parameter swings hit harder than they would in a large display. Add slowly to flow and let the system settle between adjustments.
Our reef trace elements dosing guide and ICP test interpretation guide explain how to read your results. Find it and the rest of the LAB line in water testing and care.
