Description

Supplement contains concentrated zinc. Zinc is a component of many enzymes that are responsible, among others, for protein metabolism, it also affects cell division, tissue repair and stimulates growth. It’s one of the most important seawater micronutrients and it should be dosed regularly.
Dosage:
1 ml of the product increases the zinc level by 0.001 mg/l (ppm) in 100 litres (27 US gal) of water. Recommended level: 0.001 – 0.007 mg/l (ppm). Please remember, that maximum safe daily dose is 2 ml per 100 litres of water. If you need a higher dose, split it into a few days. Dosage should be based on microelements consumption. Note, that each aquarium is different and final dosage depends on the coral cast and individual aquarium needs. Both, deficiency and excess micronutrients will affect aquarium inhabitants, therefore dosage should be selected and modified on the basis of regular Aquaforest Lab water tests.

***You may find out whether your aquarium water contains harmful substances or needs supplementation through this AF ICP Test 1 and understand more about Aquaforest Lab for your corals.

Aquaforest Zincum LAB (Zn) 200ml Reef Zinc Supplement

Zinc is a component of many enzymes that handle protein metabolism, cell division and tissue repair, which makes it a genuinely important seawater micronutrient for a thriving reef. In a closed Singapore system it is consumed steadily and is not fully replenished by water changes alone, so mature tanks running fast coral growth can quietly slip into deficiency without regular dosing of a concentrated supplement like this AF Zincum LAB.

It is potent, and the dosing is precise: 1ml raises zinc by roughly 0.001 mg/l in 100 litres, so this is very much a test-then-dose element rather than something to pour by eye. We treat zinc as part of a wider trace programme, confirm a real shortfall before adding it, and retest after dosing, because overshooting trace metals in a small reef does far more harm than a mild deficit ever would.

Our reef trace elements guide and ICP test interpretation guide show how to read your numbers. Find the LAB line in water testing and care.
