SUNSUN APH-100 pH Meter Electrode for Continuous Monitoring

The APH-100 is a replacement and long-term monitoring electrode that tracks pH and temperature continuously, giving you fast, accurate readings rather than the snapshot a single test strip provides. Continuous monitoring is genuinely useful here because our chloraminated tap water is soft and lightly buffered, so pH can drift, particularly in planted or CO2-injected tanks where it swings across the photoperiod.

An always-on electrode lets you catch a slow downward creep before it becomes a pH crash that stresses or kills livestock. As with any glass pH probe, accuracy depends on regular calibration with buffer solutions and keeping the tip clean and hydrated, so build that into your routine. It is also handy for verifying that fresh tap water sits where you expect before a water change goes into a sensitive shrimp or breeding tank.
