UP Aqua E-427 pH 7.0 Buffer Solution for Calibrating Meters

This 150ml pH 7.0 buffer is a calibration standard for digital pH pens and monitors, with added mould inhibitors so the solution stays accurate in our humid climate where opened reagents can spoil. Calibrating against a known 7.0 point keeps your meter honest, which matters because an uncalibrated pen can drift and send you chasing problems that are not really there. It is for calibration only, not for dosing into your tank.

For Singapore keepers running soft, slightly acidic tap water, accurate pH readings are genuinely useful, since our water sits below neutral and CO2 injection can swing it further. Pour out a small amount to dip the probe rather than inserting it into the bottle, so you never contaminate the standard. Store it sealed and cool. Replace the buffer periodically, as accuracy is the whole point of keeping one on the shelf.
