This Ludwigia is grown to be fixed onto hardscape rather than rooted into substrate, which makes it a flexible choice for layouts built around driftwood and stone. Tied or glued to a branch or rock, it sends growth outward and creates natural cover and grazing surfaces that shrimp and small fish work over constantly. Because it isn’t anchored in the bed, you can lift and reposition the entire piece without disturbing your scape, handy when fine-tuning a layout.

It accepts low to moderate light, so it pairs neatly with mosses, ferns and other hardscape-friendly plants rather than demanding the bright output of a carpeting tank.
