NOMOYPET NFF-77 Turtle Basking Island

A reliable basking platform is essential kit for any terrapin tank, and this suction-mounted floating island gives turtles a dry, grippy spot to climb out and dry off completely. Full drying is not optional: turtles that cannot leave the water properly develop shell and skin problems, so a stable haul-out under a good basking lamp is part of keeping them healthy. The artificial-lawn surface gives claws something to grip, which matters for younger or weaker animals.

Available in S, M and L, you can size the island to your turtle and tank. In Singapore setups we usually position it at one end of a low turtle tank, directly under the heat and UVB bulbs, leaving the rest open for swimming. The suction cups need clean glass to hold firmly, so wipe the panel before fitting and re-press them if the surface films up over time.
