Growing Syngonium Pink Splash in Singapore

Syngonium Podophyllum Pink Splash brings soft rose and cream mottling to arrowhead foliage, making it a striking accent for emersed and paludarium displays. Like its green cousin it performs best with roots in the water and leaves in open air, where it doubles as a living nitrate filter and a decorative backdrop above the waterline. The pink variegation deepens under bright, indirect light rather than dim conditions.

Our local heat and humidity suit this plant beautifully, so it tends to grow faster here than in temperate climates. Keep the root zone consistently wet and avoid fully submerging the leaves for long periods, as the variegated foliage melts under water more readily than plain green types. It is happy in an open-top HDB tank, a riparium shelf or a wabi-kusa arrangement, and propagates readily from cuttings once established.
