These pressurised pond filters bundle a UVC clarifier into the same canister, which is a smart combination for our climate where green-water blooms can take over a garden pond within days of strong sun. The UV lamp clumps free-floating algae so the foams can trap it, while the biological media handles dissolved waste, giving you both clarity and water quality from one sealed unit you can tuck out of sight below pond level.

The patented cleaning system lets you backflush the foams without opening the canister, a real benefit when you would otherwise be elbow-deep in a warm pond. We remind koi keepers that the UV bulb is a consumable: its sterilising output fades over months even when it still glows, so replace it roughly once a year to keep clearing blooms effectively. Size the model to your pond volume and stocking, and run the pump continuously rather than on a timer.
