SunSun JVP Blue Wavemaker (130 / 132 / 231 / 232) for Singapore Aquascapes

The blue-series JVP units pair a magnet mount with an outlet flow-adjustment switch, which is the feature we find most useful day to day. Being able to dial the current down means you can run real water movement in a planted scape or a community tank without sandblasting carpets, shrimp or fry. The external magnet also lets you nudge the head to a new angle from outside the glass, so you are not constantly reaching into warm tank water to retune flow.

For local keepers, consistent circulation does double duty in our 27-29C ambient: it keeps detritus moving toward the filter intake and ripples the surface for oxygen exchange, which matters more in a densely planted HDB or condo tank during humid afternoons. Position the head along the back glass to create a gentle gyre rather than a single jet, and step the flow up gradually so your livestock adjusts.
