TCulture Limnophila Aquatica for Singapore Aquascapes
Limnophila aquatica is a lush stem plant whose finely divided, feathery whorls create a soft, bushy backdrop that fills the rear of a planted tank fast. Grown as a tissue-culture portion it arrives clean and pest-free, ready to split into small bunches. We like it for keepers wanting that classic Dutch-style green texture, and it brings movement and depth to a Singapore aquascape.
It does best with good light and benefits from CO2 and column dosing to keep the lower stems dense rather than leggy. In our warm 27-29C tanks it grows quickly, so plan on regular topping and replanting of the cut tops to keep the bush full. Give it room, as crowded stems shade their own bases and thin out from below, and trim with sharp scissors to encourage the bushy side-shoots that make it look full.
