Hydrocotyle Tripartita ‘Mini’ for Singapore nano scapes
The ‘Mini’ form trades the larger leaves of standard Tripartita for tiny, tightly packed clover foliage, giving a finer, more detailed carpet that we love in nano and iwagumi-adjacent layouts. Its smaller scale suits the compact tanks common in HDB and condo homes, where every centimetre counts. As a tissue-culture portion it is clean, algae and pest free, and ideal for shrimp-safe planting straight out of the cup.
To keep this Mini truly carpet-flat rather than climbing, give it strong, even light and CO2, and trim frequently; the denser you keep it, the finer the lawn. Our soft, slightly acidic Singapore tap water suits it once dechlorinated, and ambient 27-29C needs no heater. Replant trimmed runners into thin spots to speed full coverage, and keep flow steady so nutrients reach the low-lying growth across your tank’s foreground.
