The green form of Mattogrossense gives you that classic feathery milfoil texture in a clean, fresh shade that brightens any background. We recommend it to local aquascapers who want fast vertical growth to frame a layout and to soak up nutrients while a new tank settles. The delicate whorled leaves create a soft, hazy backdrop that makes hardscape and colourful stems in front stand out.

As a quick grower it does best with a dependable nutrient supply; thin or pale growth usually signals it wants more feeding or light rather than less. It handles our warm 27-29C tap conditions well once water is dechlorinated, and while CO2 is optional, it keeps the foliage compact and richly green. Give each stem a little room so flow reaches the lower portions.
