Feeding the UP Aqua Bottom Food in a Singapore Tank
In our experience this sinking stick suits the plecos, corydoras and loaches that dominate so many local community tanks. The wafers go straight to the substrate, so timid grazers can feed after lights-out without racing mid-water tetras for every morsel. Because our tanks sit at a warm 27-29C year round, metabolism runs high and these bottom dwellers graze almost constantly, so a few sticks at dusk keeps them occupied without fouling the water.
We tell customers to drop only what the tank clears within an hour and to siphon any leftovers, since warm SG water spoils uneaten food fast and feeds algae. Pair this with the existing biofilm and soft algae on your driftwood and hardscape for a balanced diet. The mix of red high-protein and green spirulina sticks lets you read your fish: herbivorous plecos favour the green, while omnivores happily take both.
