Description
A liquid treatment that controls and clears common algae in freshwater planted aquariums, restoring clarity to glass, décor and plant leaves when used as directed.
Treating Algae the Sensible Way in SG Planted Tanks
Liquid algae treatments work best as one part of a wider plan, not a standalone fix. In Singapore, warm year-round temperatures and tanks parked near bright windows give algae plenty of encouragement, so the underlying triggers tend to be excess light, surplus nutrients, or an imbalance with CO2. This treatment can knock back an existing bloom and restore clarity to glass and leaves, but the algae returns if the conditions that fed it stay unchanged.
We always advise dosing as directed, never overshooting in the hope of faster results, and improving flow and maintenance at the same time. Spot-treating, trimming affected leaves, and tightening your photoperiod usually do more long-term good than a heavier dose. In planted tanks with shrimp or sensitive species, go conservatively and observe your livestock closely over the first day.
