How To Safely Add Fish To Tank

1. Set live stock aside with transportation bag in room temperature place for 30 minutes.
2. Then transfer bag to float in aquarium for another 30 minutes
3. Use a fish net to transfer the live stock by scooping it from the bag into the tank.

Note: Do not release live stocks together with the transportation water into tank.

Polar Blue Parrot Cichlid (Small Size) in Singapore

The Polar Blue Parrot is a hybrid cichlid with the rounded, characterful body shape parrot keepers love, set off by a striking marbled blue-and-white pattern. At this small size they are easy to start with, but plan ahead: they grow into chunky, personable fish that need a roomy tank with stable water. Their cichlid intelligence shows quickly, and many learn to beg at the glass and recognise their keeper.

These hybrids are hardy and adapt well to Singapore conditions, accepting our warm 27-29C ambient and the soft, slightly acidic tap water our supply provides once dechlorinated. They can be semi-aggressive and dig at substrate, so use smooth rock and robust decor rather than delicate aquascaping. Keep up regular water changes, since their hearty appetite produces a fair bioload, and feed sinking cichlid pellets supplemented with the occasional meaty treat.
