DOOA Protector F for System Terra / Aqua 30
Protector F is an acrylic guard made for the System Terra 30 and System Aqua 30 tanks, at 28.5cm long. It sits at the open edge of the tank to help stop fish jumping out, a real risk with the lower open rims these integrated systems use. Being clear acrylic, it does the protective job while staying visually unobtrusive, so it does not interrupt the clean lines of a display scape.
We find jump protection genuinely worthwhile in Singapore for these open-top systems, particularly with skittish nano fish that bolt when startled by movement in a busy HDB or condo room. A loss to the floor is avoidable with a simple guard like this. It also slightly reduces the surface evaporation our warm ambient drives, meaning marginally less frequent top-ups on a small water volume.
