DOOA Terra Line is a special yarn for the reliable fixing of plants on driftwood, stones or the DOOA Terra Base. This thread, made of synthetic fibre, secures plants such as epiphytes, mosses or other plants with slowly growing roots. It does not dissolve even if constantly under water.

Terra Line is a moss-green synthetic yarn made for one job: tying epiphytes, mosses and slow-rooting plants onto driftwood, stones or DOOA’s Terra Base while they establish a grip. The colour is the quiet detail, blending into moss and shadow so the thread disappears as plants grow over it. Because it is synthetic it stays intact underwater indefinitely and will not rot away before slow growers like anubias or bucephalandra have anchored.

For Singapore aquascapers this is a dependable wrap-and-forget option. Epiphytes here grow steadily in our warm tanks but their roots still take weeks to latch, and a thread that holds through that whole period saves you re-tying. Wrap firmly but not so tight that you crush rhizomes, leave the line in place once plants take hold, and trim any stray ends for a tidy finish. It works equally well for emersed wall plantings and submerged hardscape.
