Terra Tape is a self-adherent water retentive tape product for keeping from drying out by winding it around driftwood and creating an appropriate environment for growing epiphytes such as moss. Please wind it around driftwood while leaving its end in the water and put some moss on top of the tape in the area above water for aqua terrarium and paludarium.

DOOA Terra Tape for Emersed Moss Growth in Singapore

Terra Tape is a self-adherent, water-retentive wrap you wind around driftwood to keep an emersed surface from drying out. The idea is simple and effective: leave one end of the tape trailing into the water so it wicks moisture upward, then bed moss onto the damp tape above the waterline. The moss draws on that constant supply and creeps over the wood, giving you a lush, aged look far faster than bare driftwood would.

It is genuinely useful in Singapore terrariums and paludariums, where the section of hardscape above water is the part most at risk of drying, especially under air-conditioning. The wicking action keeps that zone reliably moist so emersed moss establishes instead of browning off. Because it is self-adherent there is no glue or thread needed. Mist with treated water during establishment and keep the trailing end submerged so the capillary feed never breaks.
