The Hailea ACO 5500 is a quiet, mains-powered air pump available in single and double outlet versions, built around multi-stage noise reduction and shock-absorbing rubber components so it hums softly rather than rattling. We point customers towards it for living-room and bedroom display tanks where pump noise is a dealbreaker, and for sponge filters, air-driven setups and multiple small tanks that need a reliable steady air supply.

Strong aeration matters in our climate because warm SG water at 27 to 29C holds less dissolved oxygen, so a dependable pump keeps gas exchange healthy on busy or heavily stocked tanks. Choose the double outlet if you are splitting air across two tanks or running both a sponge filter and an air stone. Site it above the waterline or fit a check valve so water cannot siphon back into the unit during a stoppage.
