The JUMBO-1 runs on mains power day to day, then switches to its internal rechargeable battery the moment supply drops, which is exactly what you want during one of our monsoon-season blackouts. Because it charges while plugged in and stays ready, you don’t have to remember anything; the pump simply carries the tank through the gap. Its dual outlets let one unit cover two tanks or split air across multiple sponge filters in a fish room.
Singapore’s warm 27-29C water holds less dissolved oxygen, so even a short outage can stress a heavily stocked tank surprisingly fast. The intermittent mode stretches battery runtime to keep fish alive through extended cuts without you hovering nearby. We suggest testing the battery occasionally so you know it still holds charge, and keeping an air stone connected and ready rather than scrambling for one in the dark.
