SHIRUBA K9000 high-output twin-outlet air pump

The K9000 sits at the stronger end of SHIRUBA’s range, with dual metal outlets and a dial that lets you fine-tune flow rather than jumping between fixed steps. That high output suits larger tanks, deep sumps or a row of sponge filters in a dedicated fish room, where weaker pumps simply run out of push at depth. The dual vibration absorbers and twin-shell design keep a pump this powerful from buzzing across the cabinet.

Singapore’s warm 27-29C water holds less oxygen, and a heavily stocked or deep tank benefits from genuine air volume, especially overnight when plants stop producing oxygen and consume it instead. We suggest using the dial to back flow off on shallower tanks so you don’t drive too much surface turbulence and off-gas CO2 in a planted setup. Mount it above the waterline or fit check valves to protect against backflow during outages.
