The 305mm Pro-Scissors M is the size most Singapore aquascapers reach for first, long enough for standard 2 foot tanks yet manageable for detailed work. In our warm 27-29C water stem plants grow quickly, so a comfortable everyday trimmer matters more here than in cooler climates where pruning is occasional. We keep this size within arm’s reach on our own maintenance rounds because it handles the bulk of routine grooming without fuss.

Use long, even strokes across a Rotala or Ludwigia hedge to keep the top line clean, then siphon or net the clippings before they settle and decay. Sharp blades give clean cuts that heal faster and give algae less foothold, which matters in our nutrient-rich warm tanks. Rinse and dry the steel after every session so humidity does not spot the edges.
