Descriptions

The biOrb HumidiMist is a clarified liquid for the fog unit of the biOrb AIR. In addition to an optimal terrarium climate,
HumidiMist also provides a clear long-term view of the biotope.
The patented, remineralised water convinces with reduced mineral content and low conductivity and thus reduces the possible occurrence of unsightly deposits on the terrarium glass.
Since HumidiMist is enriched with electrolytes, the sensor of the fog unit of the biOrb is automatically activated when the humidity falls below a critical level.

biOrb AIR HumidiMist 5L: The Right Water for Your Fog Unit

The HumidiMist is the fluid you pour into the biOrb AIR’s fogging chamber, and it exists for one practical reason: ordinary tap water leaves marks. Here in Singapore our mains supply carries dissolved minerals and chloramine, and when a misting unit atomises that water, the minerals settle as chalky white film across the glass. This remineralised, low-conductivity liquid is formulated to mist cleanly so your viewing pane stays clear for the long haul.

It also keeps the unit’s sensor working as intended. The added electrolytes let the fog system read humidity correctly and trigger misting only when the air inside dips below the level your plants need. That automation is handy in our climate, where ambient humidity swings between a dry air-conditioned room and the heavy moisture of a monsoon afternoon, and a terrarium can dry or sweat faster than you expect.

You will find compatible fog accessories across our biorb-aquariums collection. For background on why local water behaves the way it does, see our notes on Singapore tap water and removing chloramine.
