When to replace your biOrb bubble tube
The bubble tube is the part that hides the airline running up the centre of a biOrb and lifts water through the filter, so it is constantly in the flow and constantly on show. Over time the acrylic can yellow, scratch or collect a stubborn film that no amount of wiping clears. Swapping in a fresh tube is the single quickest way to make an older biOrb look new again, and this replacement comes in the right length for your model from the 130mm up to the 375mm.
In Singapore homes the warm, humid conditions and frequent lighting hours can accelerate that dull, cloudy build-up, especially if a little algae has taken hold. We recommend matching the tube length to your exact tank size and rinsing it before fitting. Slide your ornaments back over the new tube once it is seated and the airstone reconnected.
