The CL30A set is built for the larger Classic 30, so it leans green and planted rather than reef-themed: a mushroom trunk ornament, topiary balls, easy plant set and feather ferns create a freshwater-garden feel. For Singapore hobbyists who want a lush look without the lighting and CO2 demands of live plants in a sealed acrylic globe, these weighted artificial pieces are a practical middle ground.

Use the mushroom trunk as your focal point off-centre, then graduate the topiary balls and ferns from tall at the back to short at the front for a sense of depth. The ceramic-weighted bases hold position in the biOrb’s gentle bubble flow. All items shrug off our 27 to 29C ambient, and a periodic swish in old tank water keeps the greenery free of the soft algae film that builds quickly in our warm conditions.
