The biOrb Feather Fern Set S Green delivers a soft, natural fern look in any size of biOrb with almost no effort. At up to 20.5cm the small set works as mid-ground filler in a Classic 30 or as a taller back-row accent in a 15 litre tank. The heavy round base is the key detail, keeping the ferns planted and stopping them drifting in the biOrb’s gentle bubble flow, so the scene stays composed.

We like grouping two or three of these to build a believable cluster rather than dotting single stems around. Being artificial, they avoid the rapid algae growth real ferns can show in Singapore’s warm 27 to 29C water, and they recover instantly from a rinse in old tank water during maintenance. They also soften the hard lines of resin ornaments and hardscape nicely.
