The biOrb Shipwreck as a statement centrepiece
At eight inches tall, the steampunk-inspired biOrb Shipwreck is a proper statement piece rather than a subtle accent, and it works best in the larger biOrb globes and tubes where it has room to breathe. The metallic chains and chandlery detail give it intricate character under the LED, making it an easy talking point for a living-room or office tank. Like other biOrb sculptures, it slides over the central bubble tube to hide that bare stem.
Made from durable high-grade resin, it holds its finish in our warm, bright conditions without fading or softening. Because it is a tall, detailed ornament, it offers plenty of surface for algae and biofilm to settle in a 27-29C tank, so factor it into your maintenance: lift it out periodically, rinse the crevices in old tank water, and keep abrasives well away from the surrounding acrylic.
