How To Safely Add Fish To Tank

1. Set live stock aside with transportation bag in room temperature place for 30 minutes.
2. Then transfer bag to float in aquarium for another 30 minutes
3. Use a fish net to transfer the live stock by scooping it from the bag into the tank.

Note: Do not release live stocks together with the transportation water into tank.

Keeping Axelrodi Corydoras in a Singapore Tank

The Axelrodi Cory is a peaceful, sociable dwarf catfish that does best in groups of six or more, so it shoals naturally and shows its busy foraging behaviour. In our experience these fish settle quickly into established Singapore tanks, but they appreciate a soft, sandy or fine-gravel base they can sift without scratching their delicate barbels. Sharp substrate is the most common cause of barbel erosion we see locally, so plan the floor of the tank with them in mind.

Our ambient 27-29C suits Axelrodi Corydoras well, and most home setups run them heaterless year-round. They prefer the soft, slightly acidic water that comes straight from our chloraminated mains once it is properly conditioned, so dechlorination before every water change matters. Keep them in the lower third of a calm, well-oxygenated community tank alongside small tetras or rasboras, and feed sinking wafers plus the occasional frozen bloodworm so the bottom dwellers actually get their share.
