How To Safely Add Fish To Tank

1. Set live stock aside with transportation bag in room temperature place for 30 minutes.
2. Then transfer bag to float in aquarium for another 30 minutes
3. Use a fish net to transfer the live stock by scooping it from the bag into the tank.

Note: Do not release live stocks together with the transportation water into tank.

Keeping Salt and Pepper Corydoras in Singapore

Salt and Pepper Corydoras are tiny peaceful dwarf cories that stay around 2-3cm, which makes them a perfect bottom team for the nano and 2ft planted tanks so popular in HDB flats. They are shoaling fish, so we always advise a group of six or more, otherwise they sulk and hide. Our soft, slightly acidic local tap water suits them well, and at our ambient 27-29C they are comfortable without a heater in most setups.

Give them a soft sand bed rather than sharp gravel, which protects the delicate barbels they use to sift for food, and feed sinking foods since flakes rarely reach the bottom in time. They are sensitive to nitrate and poor acclimation, so on arrival float and drip them in slowly following our handling steps. A gentle flow and a few plants for cover bring out their natural foraging behaviour.
