Raising fry safely with the ANS Isolation Box (30x15x15cm, double)

This double isolation box hangs inside your main tank to give fry, shrimplets or a recovering fish a protected space while still sharing the established water, temperature and filtration of the parent system. The two compartments let you separate a berried female from the colony, grow out a batch of fry away from hungry tankmates, or keep two individuals apart at once. Sharing the main tank’s water means stable parameters without the hassle of running a second heated, cycled tank.

Position it where the return flow gives gentle circulation through the box so it stays oxygenated and waste does not pool, but not so strong that tiny fry are tumbled. In our warm 27-29C water, many local breeders skip a separate heater entirely and let the main tank set the temperature. Feed lightly and often inside the box, and siphon out any uneaten food so the small volume stays clean.
