This 15 x 15 x 15cm acrylic isolation box hangs inside your existing tank, with mesh side and bottom panels that let water flow through so the occupant shares your established water chemistry and temperature. We reach for an in-tank box like this to separate a nipped fish, a pregnant livebearer about to drop fry, or a new arrival you want to watch, all without committing to a full separate hospital tank in a space-tight Singapore home.

Removable panels make it easy to clean and adjust, the rust-proof mesh holds up in constant water contact, and a back hook clamps it firmly to the glass. The clear lid keeps a good view of the occupant, and a vent hole lets heat escape, handy in our warm rooms where a small enclosed volume can otherwise creep up in temperature. We still keep flow around the box so the inside never goes stagnant.
