The CADE Reef S2 Classic 500 for Compact SG Spaces

At 50cm wide, the Classic 500 brings the full CADE sump-filtered reef experience to a footprint that actually fits an HDB or condo without dominating the room. It’s the system we point first-time reefers toward when space and budget are tight but they still want a proper concealed weir, a real sump and the rimless Opti-Clear look rather than an all-in-one compromise.

Smaller water volume swings faster, so stability is everything: in our warm 27-29C ambient even a nano reef this size benefits from a chiller to hold temperature steady, and an ATO smooths out the rapid evaporation our climate causes. The waterproof aluminium-and-glass cabinet shrugs off humidity and salt creep, and the screw-fit plumbing keeps the install quick and quiet.
