Living With the CADE River S2 900 in a Singapore Home

At 90x60x55cm, the CADE River S2 900 is a serious display footprint, and the first thing we tell Singapore customers is to think about where it sits. A tank this size filled and scaped runs into hundreds of kilograms, so an HDB or condo install really should land over a load-bearing wall or beam line rather than mid-span across a floor slab. Its matching cabinet is built to carry that weight squarely, which is exactly why a unified stand-and-tank system makes sense here.

The rimless open-top format that defines this series is gorgeous for aquascaping, but open tops evaporate faster in our 27-29C climate, especially with air-con or fans running. We suggest topping up with dechlorinated water every few days and keeping the rim wiped down, since humidity and salt creep are real in coastal SG flats. The wide front pane and clean silicone work give you an unobstructed scaping canvas with no plastic bracing to design around.
