Nature Grains! Shrimp are a rich source of calcium, protein, mineral vitamins and essential fatty acids.
Nature Grains! Shrimp microwave dried food is ideal for nutrient preservation as when the microwaves penetrate food, they heat it much more efficiently and quickly, so there is less time for vitamins to break down. As such, It produces an extremely nutrient-dense food that is easy and neat to serve. Microwave drying eliminates harmful pathogens while preserving vital nutrients, offering nutrition that is similar to a raw diet.

Due to this factors, Nature Grains! Shrimp make perfect treats for our pets. Be it for good behavior/obedience training, or simply to perk up your pets mood for the day.

Do note that treats should never be the bulk/main portion of your pets meal. In addition, treats should always be given after its main meal.

Feeding Nature Grains! Shrimp in Singapore Tanks

We keep these dried shrimp treats on the shelf because they suit so many of the fish Singapore hobbyists actually keep, from flowerhorns and oscars to larger barbs and gouramis. The microwave-dried whole shrimp hold their shape and sink slowly, so mid-water and bottom feeders both get a share. We recommend offering them as a supplement two or three times a week rather than a staple, alongside a balanced everyday pellet.

In our warm 27-29C tanks, biological loads rise fast, so portion control matters. Feed only what your fish clear in a couple of minutes and net out any leftovers before they foul the substrate. Soaking a pinch in tank water for a minute softens them for smaller mouths and reduces the chance of fish gulping air. Stored sealed and dry, the pack stays fresh in our humid climate; we keep ours away from kitchen steam.
